The Responsible Jewelllery Council, RJC is the world’s leading sustainability standard setting organisation for the jewellery industry. Ensuring that they promote equal human & labor rights, working to transform jewellery supply chains to be more responsible and sustainable. With Green Practices for sustainable jewellery manufacturing, including ethically sourced materials, lower energy used (HVAC control system), quality operation protocols to maximize the materials and produce less waste, recycle and reuse the materials, ethical waste management, especially for chemical waste that’s potentially dangerous for the environment and utilize a reliable waste gas collection system for proper disposal, while all liquid solutions used in electroplating process are forwarded to professional waste management facilities for treatment.
All our certified 925 sterling solid silver, which is 92.5% pure silver mixed with alloys to create a highly durable material and 18ct gold vermeil are 100% recycled, significantly reducing CO2 emissions, by over 60%, with zero compromise on quality.

JBP London gold vermeil layers 18k rose, yellow and white gold, at least 2.5 microns thick onto 925 sterling silver, ensuring the best quality, finish and longevity. Gold vermeil being at least 2.5 microns thick, promises luster of solid gold, as oppose to gold plating with 0.5 microns on any metal base. Hypoallergenic, thanks to the 925 sterling silver base and does not cause most skin discolouration like some plated products, again, due to 925 solid silver base.
Gold vermeil is very durable, however, please use tips below to maintain. Chemicals from make up, perfume, hairspray and lotions can all damage the beauty and lustre of gold vermeil, so please remove whilst using such products. Remove prior to showering, swimming etc, as water and chemicals (especially chlorine) will shorten life of gold vermeil.
Always use your JBP London cleaning cloth to polish your bangle and slides. Abrasive liquids, cleaning powders and household cleaners all have acids and abrasives which will cause damage.
